As part of the proper functioning of the Gabonese customs administration, a steering committee was organized on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the hotel of customs. The agenda of this meeting was about :

• The presentation of the action plan for 2021-2023,
• The handing over of attributes to all directors,

Mr. Director General in his opening speech thanked all participants of the CODIR which takes place at the beginning of the year and which must adapt to the current social change, in order to ensure the objectives which are

• Maximize the liquidation and recovery of customs revenues;
• To restore the customs administration to its former glory;
• Facilitate and secure trade flows
• To actively contribute to the recovery of the national economy. At the end of the COVID19 pandemic through the Acceleration and Transformation Program (PAT) which is based on the values of honor, dedication, respect, professionalism, probity, responsibility and integrity.

To close his remarks, the Director General of Customs asked all the agents to redouble their efforts in order to achieve the expected objectives. He also urged everyone to respect and insisted on the achievement of the strategic plan.
